Stock indexes rose in Saudi Arabia at the end of today's session; Saudi Arabia's main index climbed nearly 1.04%
Shares close higher in Saudi Arabia at the end of trading on Thursday, as indicators associated higher, gains were recorded in the sectors of financial services, energy, public services, transport and communications.
At the end of trading in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's General Index increased by 1.04%, and arrived within 3 months of its highest record level.
Among the leading stocks today in the Saudi general index emerged shares Alujain (SE: 2170), whose value rose 7.27%, or 1.05 points, and the price reached 15.50 at closing. In contrast, shares secretariat Insurance (SE: 8310) continued to rise at 6.67% or 0.60 points and closed at the price of 9.60, while shares Federation of wire factories (SE: 1301) rose 4.95%, or 1.00 points, at a price of 21.20 at the end of the session.
As for the performance of the weakest at the end of trading today, the shares closed Falcon Cooperative Insurance Company (SE: 8180) low at 9.66%, or 2.80 points, trading at 26.20 levels at closing. Shares of Jazan Development Company (SE: 6090) fell by 4.95% or 0.70 points, at a price of 13.45, while shares Arabia Insurance Cooperative Company (SE: 8160) closed on landing at 3.82% or 0.30 points at a price of 7.55.
The number of gainers exceeded the number of shares closed lower trading in the Saudi market with 78 compared to 71, while 18 remained unchanged.
Futures rose on crude oil for May delivery 0.26, or 0.11% and closed at the price of $ 41.87 a barrel. As for the trading of other commodities, Brent oil for June delivery 0.29%, or 0.13, and arrived at the price of $ 44.31 a barrel, and the contract in June in respect of gold decline has been recorded by 0.96% or 12.00 points, closing at a price of $ 1,236.30 per ounce.
Pair EUR / SAR lost 0.00% and trading at levels of 4.2285, while the pair USD / SAR has continued to rise toward 0.01% and reached 3.7500 levels.
The dollar index traded higher by 0.03% at 94.84.
